Heartbreak at rescue centre as dog returns surge
'High Hopes Dog Rescue' is based in Kidderminster - they take in strays and abandoned dogs, mainly from abroad, in the hope they can finding loving families for them here.
But they're facing an unprecedented crisis - with donations falling off a cliff, costs at an all-time high, and their most pressing concern: people sending dogs back to them, meaning they've had to put a halt to any new arrivals for the time being.
