River Thames scheme threatens Shepperton Open water swimmers
The River Thames scheme is a £500m plan to build new waterways next to the river, to cope with overflows and reducing the risk of homes in Surrey being flooded.
It'll also create a habitat for wildlife.
But one of the new channels will be in Spelthorne. A problem for some people swimming in a lake around there.
Around 40,000 people have signed a petition against it being included.
