Lucie Rie - ‘One of the most important contributors to 20th century British art’

Emma Jane Kirby reports on the early life of Lucie Rie, an Austrian-born British potter described as ‘one of the most important contributors to 20th century British art’. Her pottery, made with experimental techniques practiced over her 70-year career, became popular all over the world.
