The first recording of digitally created music
Researchers have restored the first known recording of computer-generated music, created in 1951 on a gigantic contraption built by the computer scientist Alan Turing.
Professor Jack Copeland is director of the Turing Archive and restored the first known recording of computer music and Nemone Metaxas is the presenter of BBC 6 Music's ‘Nemone's Electric Ladyland’.
