'I hope this is day Bosnians come together'
Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has been convicted of genocide and war crimes over the 1992-95 war, and sentenced to 40 years in jail.
Arminka Helic fled Bosnia during the war there and established herself in the UK as a senior foreign policy adviser to the Conservative Party.
Speaking ahead of the final verdict and sentencing, Lady Helic told Edward Stourton she hoped "that today might be the day on which Bosnia can take a step forward".
"I am sceptical this will be that day," she added.
