Why do some people decide to remain discreet about illnesses such as cancer, while others find comfort in talking about it?
Speaking on the subject was Ronny Rowlands, whose grandfather told almost no one he was ill before he died and Jean Gross, mother of Kate Gross, who wrote a book about her illness entitled Late Fragments: Everything I Want to Tell You (About This Magnificent Life).
