Sir David Attenborough on 70 tonne titanosaur
Sir David Attenborough’s latest programme explores the fossil discovery and reconstruction in Argentina of a new species of titanosaur.
Measuring 37m long and weighing 70 tonnes, calculations show it is the biggest animal ever to walk the earth.
Sir David spoke to Today programme presenter Nick Robinson about the dinosaur and how they worked out its dimensions from the bones they found.
