Peek inside the dolls' house it took Lauren Child 30 years to make
Author and illustrator Lauren Child, creator of the Charlie and Lola children’s books, has a love of dolls' houses.
She has spent thirty years creating one of her own, which is finally complete and now on display at the House of Illustration in London.
“It’s really a blank canvas, you do your own thing with it and suddenly it becomes very elaborate,” she told the Today programme.
“Looking at rooms can be very calming, because you kind of inhabit them in your mind.”
