'Slapstick never gets old' - Laurel and Hardy on the road
Laurel and Hardy will return to the big screen this summer in celebrations to mark the 125th anniversary of Stan Laurel's birth.
Cinemas across the UK and in Ireland will be showing a double bill of their classic 1933 feature-length film Sons of the Desert and the short film County Hospital.
Ross Owen organised the Laurel and Hardy Roadshow, which sees two of their films screened in 19 cinemas across the UK and Ireland this June.
“Unfortunately not enough of today’s generation know who they are and that’s the target,” he said.
“Slapstick never gets old.”
