Glyn Johns: Recording Let It Be was not 'poisonous'
The legendary record engineer Glyn John says contrary to popular belief the recording of Let It Be wasn’t “poisonous”.
The producer worked with The Beatles at the end of their career.
Glyn says he envisaged the album as a stripped down affair, but claimed Phil Spector’s subsequent production ruined the final record and made him “feel ill”.
