Pam learns more about Leeds Survivors Poetry Group from Sue

Pam talks to Sue who has loved writing all her life, and after doing English at University, became a teacher. While teaching, she suffered a period of depression. Writing poetry, and being part of the Leeds Survivors Poetry Group – for people who are living with or have survived mental illness - has been part of her recovery. The Survivors Poetry Group has guest speakers who are well known poets and also runs a fortnightly writers workshop whereby members write, read, and discuss their own work.
