PM listeners' sounds: Very low frequency chorus
PM listener Bill Ward sent in this sound of a Very low frequency (VLF) chorus. He explained: "It is caused by emissions from electrons in the Earth / Ionospheric circuit. It is also frequently called "natural radio" as these very low frequency signals are highly variable and occur entirely naturally. I recorded this event a few years ago from a location just north of Glasgow."
