Venezuela's Tower of Dreams
Olly Lambert meets some of the residents of an abandoned skyscraper in the heart of the capital, who have created a secure environment away from the violence on the streets below.
Caracas' locals call the unfinished skyscraper in the heart of the capital, "The Tower of David". It was meant to be a symbol of the new, prosperous Venezuela but building works was abandoned twenty years ago and it has now become home to 3,000 squatters. Film-maker Olly Lambert meets some of the extraordinary residents of the 45-storey tower block, who have created order from the chaos, and a secure environment away from the violence and turf warfare on the streets below.
