Jess Gillam is joined by the percussionist Joby Burgess for a listening party.
As well as playing as a solo percussionist, Joby also spends plenty of time in the studio, recording for major artists like Paul McCartney, Little Simz, Max Richter and Rosalía. That diversity is reflected in the music Joby has brought to the show, ranging from Peter Gabriel to Dobrinka Tabakova and Henryk Górecki to Milt Jackson, while Jess’s picks include Eddie Daniels and Caroline Shaw.
