Always, Already There

Kate Molleson with specially recorded music from the inaugural UK edition of Always, Already There: The Afrodiasporic Avant-Garde Incubator Project at the Barbican in London.

Kate Molleson presents specially recorded music from the inaugural UK edition of Always, Already There at the Barbican in the City of London.

Featuring UK premieres from Marisse Cato, Charles Uzor and Corie Rose Soumah. Always, Already There: The Afrodiasporic Avant-Garde Incubator Project champions experimental music by composers historically excluded from the contemporary music space.

Curated by vocalist and composer Elaine Mitchener, the programme includes a rare solo set from vocal pioneer and multimedia electronic artist Pamela Z, alongside music performed by the newly-formed Always, Already There Ensemble.
