The 20th edition of the biennial contest is being played in the Netherlands for the first time, with Europe looking to win the trophy back on home soil after Team USA secured victory for the first time since 2017 two years ago. Twelve singles matches take place on day three, with the competition having reached nerve-shredding and dramatic climaxes on several occasions down the years – including a 14-14 draw the last time it was played in Europe, in 2023.
