Linton Stephens introduces highlights from the BBC Proms including Karol Symanowski's choral masterpiece, his Stabat mater, inspired by Mary's words at the Cross, with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales and Ryan Bancroft; plus chamber music from the recent Aldeburgh Festival from tenor Nicky Spence and pianist Julius Drake and Schubert's affecting Quintet for Strings recorded two week's ago at the Pau Casals International Music Festival in Spain.
