Chief Conductor Anna-Maria Helsing and the BBC Concert Orchestra are joined by cellist Senja Rummukainen in the premiere of a BBC Radio 3 commission from Swedish composer Tebogo Monnakgotla: Bombus, inspired by the life cycle of bees. In part 2, before Brahms' third symphony, Missy Mazzoli turns the orchestra in a giant hurdy-gurdy with her imaginative orchestration.
