Calum is planting up hanging baskets, a great way to decorate a doorstep or shed, and talks about his favourite bedding plants to get planted right now. Brian demonstrates the best way to tackle a border that has gotten out of control and what you should be doing with some of your rhododendrons at this time of year.

Calum is busy in his family plot at Beechgrove as he shows just what can be done in an average-sized garden, and also in his competition plot, where he has been challenged to cultivate a border full of scent.
