The Balmoral Show

Sean Fletcher and Adam Henson are in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, for the Balmoral Show, the region’s largest agricultural and food event, welcoming more than 100,000 visitors each year.

As the Show celebrates it’s 157th year, Sean and Adam meet the people who make it such a vital gathering for the region’s farming community and explore how events like this are crucial to their future.

Adam explores heritage crafts that the community are determined to preserve and joins families showing their prize livestock, while Sean is in charge of the stopwatch at the tractor-handling competition and gets hands-on with traditional local produce valuable to the region’s economy.
