David and Alexis find their parents' abrupt interest in them appalling. Mutt is seen cosying up to the mayor’s wife, Jocelyn.
Johnny and Moira come to a shocking realisation that they might be terrible parents. They attempt to get to know their twenty-something children, but David and Alexis avoid their parents' intrusive interest, with David trying to sell some of his clothes for extra cash and Alexis investigating Mutt’s mysterious relationship with the mayor’s wife. Johnny and Moira speak with Roland and Jocelyn about parenting and realise that all parents have issues with their children.
