If there was ever an episode for animal lovers, it’s this one! Christina presents a show all about our furry, feathered and four-legged friends, and looks back at the teams who have sniffed out some tail-wagging treasures. Expect cuddly cats, delightful dogs and even a few perky pigs as Christina visits an RSPCA centre in Hertfordshire. She counts down the most profitable pet-related items purchased by red and blues teams at antiques fairs across the country.
In Kent, a statue of a golden retriever turns the head of Jenny, who runs a doggy display team; in Carmarthenshire, a couple hope to reel in a good deal with a french-glass fish; and in Nottinghamshire, a silver metal spider brooch gives best friends Pam and Diane the creeps!
Away from the shopping, Eric learns about the origin of Nipper, the iconic HMV dog, and Charlie’s off the leash, learning about antique dog collars.
