Wigmore Hall 125: Gala Concert

As part of Wigmore Hall's 125th Anniversary Festival, Ian Skelly compères a special programme replicating elements from Wigmore's inaugural concert on 31st May 1901. That night, several star artists of the turn of the century joined forces, and tonight's concert features a foster of today's leading musicians. And during the interval, Ian Skelly talks to Wigmore director John Gilhooly and novelist Julia Boyd about the history of performance at the Hall.
