The players take on a gruelling mission to secure the coveted shield - the only protection against murder. A blast from the past heightens suspicions, leaving the players with an identity crisis.
After tasting success in their first attempt, the Innocents feel a renewed sense of hope, but their joy is fleeting as the Traitors ruthlessly claim their next victim in the dead of the night.
The players are divided into two groups for a critical mission: collecting gold nuggets by balancing on slippery planks over a water body. The team with the most gold wins a shield, granting one player protection from the next murder, but the mission exposes cracks in alliances as players crack under pressure.
After the mission, Karan leaves the players with a shocking twist - a blast from the past - forcing the group to re-evaluate everything they thought they knew.
