In Attendance, The Six Paths of Pain

Jiraiya completes his Sage Mode transformation to battle the three Pains. But Jiraiya’s ninjutsu attacks enhanced by the two great sages Fukasaku and Shima are repeatedly negated, while his taijutsu attacks are blocked by the Pains unknown teamwork. Fukasaku speculates that the Pains are somehow sharing their vision with one another, and advises Jiraiya to fall back. After analysing the situation at hand, Jiraiya and the two great sages devise a plan to defeat Pain. But what awaited Jiraiya following the fierce battle was something even he couldn’t have anticipated.
