Half an hour of the finest classical music

Wind down with half an hour of back to back classical music, including works by Rachmaninov, Bach, and Grant Still.

Half an hour of back to back classical music to help you wind down after a busy day. Today's mix begins with the haunting sound of a Kokle, a 33-string table harp from Latvia. Mozart's uniquely beautiful writing for oboe and string quartet continues the restful mood, followed by a familiar folk tune given a lush orchestral treatment by Frank Bridge, a stately Sarabande by J.S. Bach, and Rachmaninov's eternally poignant Vocalise. The sequence ends with a melodic violin work by William Grant Still, and an ethereal choral work for upper voices by Taylor Scott Davis.
