The BBC's Storyville programme today announces an Executive Producer appointment and a new Strand Executive role.
Greg Sanderson has been recruited to the new post of Executive Producer.
Working with Storyville Editor, Nick Fraser, Greg – who was previously Editorial Executive for Storyville – will commission and oversee a substantial portion of each year's output.
Additionally Greg will develop new shows for the strand and assume full responsibility for the series' editorial compliance. Alongside Nick, Greg will also develop and manage Storyville's increasing online presence.
Jo Lapping will continue to be editorially involved in development, commissioning films in the new post of Strand Executive, but her role has been expanded to include responsibility for the Storyville titles that appear on BBC World.
Jo will also be the producer for certain Storyville titles and will take charge of developing the Storyville archive.
Nick Fraser says: "I'm delighted with these new appointments. They underline the BBC's commitment to the future of Storyville on the TV channels BBC Four, BBC Two and BBC World – and also in the ever-expanding digital world."
