Madonna, Shakira and BTS will headline the half-time show at the final in New Jersey

Madonna, Shakira and K-pop megastar boy band BTS will headline the first ever half-time show at this summer's Fifa World Cup final.
The tournament, which will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, concludes with the final in New Jersey on 19 July.
The show will be a Super Bowl-style performance, promising plenty of hip shaking, foot-tapping fun.

Shakira has already released an absolute bop for the 2026 Fifa World Cup, called Dai Dai, which means "lets go" or "come on" in Italian, featuring Nigerian singer-songwriter Burna Boy.
The Hips Don't Lie singer also released Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) for the 2010 tournament in South Africa.
She has been called the queen of Latin music, which is a group of musical genres - or styles - that come from the cultures of Latin America.
These include Spanish and Portuguese speaking parts of the Americas, like Mexico.
Mexico is one of the locations for the 2026 World Cup, as well as the US and Canada.

'Queen of Pop' Madonna is the best-selling female music artist of all time and is preparing to release her 15th album, Confessions II, on 3 July.
In April, she made a surprise guest appearance during Sabrina Carpenter's headline set at the Coachella music festival.

BTS are the best-selling music act in South Korean history - they've sold more than 45 million albums!
Along with Coldplay they had a UK number three hit with My Universe in 2021.

BTS have released a new album and will be going on a world tour in April
The band went on a break in 2022, as some of them had to serve in the army for a while.
When they perform at the World Cup, they will be in the middle of an 85-date world tour.
In March, Fifa president Gianni Infantino said the show "will be a historic moment for the Fifa World Cup, befitting the biggest sporting event in the world".
The half-time show has been organised by Coldplay's frontman Chris Martin and will raise money for the Fifa Global Citizen Education Fund for children worldwide.
