Towie's Jake Hall says he's getting better after 'being stabbed' in Spanish club

Towie star Jake Hall, who was reportedly stabbed in a Spanish nightclub, has thanked fans for their support from his hospital bed.

The 24-year-old posted a message to his followers on Twitter.

He's pictured sitting up in bed and connected to various machines.

He tweeted: "Thank you so much for everyone's amazing support and getting me through this. I'm getting better thank to everyone. Can't get rid of me that easily."

Various tabloid press websites reported that Jake was attacked during a night out with friends at the Aqwa Mist club in Puerto Banus in the south of Spain.

He was taken to hospital by his friends early on Monday morning.

A spokeswoman from Lime Pictures confirmed to Newsbeat that he was in hospital, but didn't give any more details on why he was admitted.

"We can confirm that Jake is currently receiving hospital treatment," a statement said.

"He is stable and hoping for a speedy recovery, but has requested privacy at this time."

Jake, who joined The Only Way Is Essex in 2015, used to play professional football for Boston United.
