Rock band Toploader have announced a Spring Bank Holiday gig in East Sussex.

They are set to play a concert at Eastbourne's Bandstand on 25 May, which will start at 13:30 GMT.

The British band, best known for their international hit Dancing in the Moonlight, have sold more than two million albums worldwide.

"Eastbourne has always been a special place for us," said Toploader's lead guitarist Dan Hipgrave.

"It's where we first started building a real following."

"Coming back to play the Bandstand feels like a proper homecoming and we can't wait to perform by the sea again."

The historic Bandstand, located on the seafront, has entertained audiences since the 1930s, according to Eastbourne Borough Council.
