A woman in her 90s who was seriously hurt after being struck by a motorbike in a hit-and-run in Leicestershire is now in a "stable" condition, said police

Emergency services were called to Oaktree Close in Groby just after 14:20 BST on Thursday, after a report a motorcycle had collided with a pedestrian and then left the scene.

Leicestershire Police said investigations were continuing and the woman, while remaining in hospital five days on from the crash, was no longer in a critical condition.

An image was released on Tuesday by the force of a motorcyclist officers are trying to trace.
