Three-time World's Strongest Man Tom Stoltman joins BBC’s Gladiators for Series 4

Three-time World's Strongest Man champion, Tom Stoltman, has joined the superhuman Gladiators cast taking on the brave Contenders ahead of the hit show's fourth series.

Produced by Hungry Bear Media and MGM Alternative UK, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, the series returns to BBC iPlayer and BBC One in 2027.

As one of the most successful strongmen in history, 32 year old Tom has dominated the sport on the world stage with his incredible strength, athleticism and determination. Now, he'll be stepping into the Gladiators arena, ready to take on a brand-new challenge.

Hailing from Invergordon in the Scottish Highlands, Tom was the first Scottish athlete to win World’s Strongest Man and is one of the UK’s most celebrated strength athletes.

Tom's Gladiator name, first look, and further details about the new series will be revealed in due course.

I’ve spent my life pushing myself to see what I can achieve and joining this incredible show is the next challenge. Filming for the new series begins in Sheffield this month, with Tom joining the formidable line-up of Gladiators, as Contenders once again prepare to face the ultimate test of speed, strength and endurance.

Gladiators (11 x 60’) and Gladiators Celebrity Special (1 x 60’) are a Hungry Bear Media and MGM Alternative UK, a division of Amazon MGM Studios, production for BBC iPlayer and BBC One and were commissioned by Kalpna Patel-Knight, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at the BBC. The Executive Producers are Dan Baldwin, Lou Brown and Reshmi Bajnath for Hungry Bear Media, and Dom Bird for MGM Alternative UK, a division of Amazon MGM Studios.
