Adrian had a successful career as a restaurant owner and chef but decided that it was a time for a change.
"I was hitting forty and I decided that being on my feet until midnight six days a week was not really ideal, so now I'm Development Manager for Martins Bakery in Newton Heath.
"We recently won an award for the Best Sandwich from the British Sandwich Association.
"We developed the sandwich with the bread department and we delivered it down to the finals and forgot all about it, until we were informed that we'd won.
"I'm very proud to have won the award because it looks good on the CV!"
Adrian's winning sandwich contained roast vegetables with pesto.
