"Hmmmm...seems like a scare story either drummed up by the powers that be to isolate lawless and rebellious Galloway by inventing myths to scare people off, or else could have been the usual Scottsih gossip thing turning into a myth...or there may be more behind it. A Clan defying and fighting against the King...or maybe they really are the first recorded serial Killers in the western world, no doubt they weren't the first!"
