Last year the Maria Bursary awarded over £40,000 to fund musical theatre training for the eligible Maria finalists.

This year the BBC has set aside a portion of the funds generated from ‘Any Dream Will Do’ audience voting lines to again distribute through a musical theatre bursary with the intention of helping aspiring young performers to further their career ambitions in the area of musical theatre.
