This spring, the BBC National Orchestra of Wales is stepping beyond the concert hall and into communities across south Wales.
Across an exciting week of activity, smaller ensembles from the orchestra will present relaxed, intimate concerts in local venues — from town halls and arts centres to cathedrals and community spaces. These performances bring orchestral music right to your doorstep, making it more accessible, informal and welcoming for everyone.
Each concert will be led and presented by the musicians themselves, offering insights into the music, sharing stories from inside the orchestra, and giving audiences the chance to get to know the personalities behind the sound. Expect familiar music, a friendly atmosphere, and a genuine sense of connection between performers and audience.
