Teachers TV

Teachers TV is the new digital TV and internet channel that provides a wide range of programmes and support materials for teaching professionals.

Funded by the Department for Education and Skills, but editorially independent of government, Teachers TV launched in February 2005, the first television channel in Europe exclusively aimed at the school education sector. It aims to improve standards in teaching and school education in England by providing professional training and development programming, education news and current affairs, classroom observation and analysis and programmes for use in the classroom.
