MOBO Nominees Gig

Former Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Nominee; Four Kornerz will be playing their unique gospel sound at The Keay Theatre, Cornwall College St Austell on Saturday 3 October at 7.30pm as part of a L.I.V.E evening.

L.I.V.E, which stands for Living Intentionally Verses Existing, is a celebration of Christian music with the theme about having a purpose in life.

Following their MOBO nomination for Best Gospel in 2007, Four Kornerz took a well deserved break bursting back on to the music scene late last year. At this year’s Marlin awards they walked away with best contemporary recording of year for ‘Gonna Make It’. They have shared the stage with a number of popular artists such as Joss Stone, Mrs Dynamite and Lemar.

Also supporting Four Kornerz will be an array of new talent from rock rappers Thebandwithnoname to the energetic voice of Philippa Hanna.

Dave Linnell OBE, Principal of Cornwall College, said: “The Keay Theatre is a really impressive venue and it’s great that outside companies are utilising the space. It really proves to our students and the community that the state-of-the-art facilities here at the College are truly inspiring.’’

Tickets are £3 and are available from The Keay Theatre box office 01726 226777 or online at www.thekeay.co.uk.
