Party in the Park is being held on Sunday 30 August 2009 at Trereife Park near Penzance. Organisers hope it will become an annual event. Trereife Manor and Gardens can be found on the outskirts of Penzance. It has staged Opera, Jazz and Theatre events in the past, but now it turns its hand to bringing music lovers some of Cornwall's best rock and pop bands. The event is being held under cover in a large marquee from 2pm to midnight on Sunday 30 August 2009. ![]() Call 4 a Hero are on the bill The line up includes the imitable Ipony, reggae grooves of Kernow Vibration, indie rockers San Pablo, the Surgeons, Call for a Hero, Taiko Warriors and the sounds of The Mighty Foghorn Leghorn. As well as music in the main tent, the audience will be treated to The Studio Bar Acoustic Tent and can picnic in the grounds throughout the day. Organisers are hoping this first Trereife Party in the Park will be a huge success.
