He's been an avid collector of instruments for a while, but even Adrian was surprised to wake up the morning after a Christmas party to discover he'd bought a mandolin! However Adrian soon fell in love with its sound and decided the time had come to create his own band. In no time at all his enthusiasm had attracted folk musicians like Maartin Allcock, Andy Dinan, and Troy Donockley - together they became The Bad Shepherds. The group now tour the country performing punk and new wave classics on folk instruments. Adrian will be bringing the band to Falmouth's Princess Pavilion on Friday 21 August 2009. ![]() The Bad Shepherds They've recently recorded an album, 'Yan, Tyan, Tethera, Methera!' which means 'One, Two, Three, Four' in an ancient Cumbrian dialect used almost exclusively by shepherds. Adrian himself has never been happier: "As long as people come and see the show I could go on forever," he smiles. "It's the most fun I have ever had." Adrian Edmondson and The Bad Shepherds can be seen live in concert at the Princess Pavilion in Falmouth from 8.30pm on Friday 21 August 2009.
