Be on a show: Judge Hacker

DLT Entertainment UK are searching for people to take part in their new show featuring CBBC's Hacker T Dog as you've never seen him before!

On Judge Hacker, kids, parents, family members, friends and even teachers get to accuse each other of the sorts of 'crimes' that normally go unpunished! Does your dad insist on singing loudly in public? Maybe your sibling wakes you up far too early at the weekend! Adults, are the kids always squabbling over the last ice lolly in the freezer? Then you need Judge Hacker! Judge Hacker will hear your case, call his witnesses, reach his verdict and then deliver some justice!

How to apply to be on the show

Before you get started with the application form, you must have your parent or guardian’s permission and fill out a form together.

IMPORTANT NOTE Filming will take place in London in June. Only applicants who are able to take part in a one-hour studio recording in London during the week beginning Monday 8th June 2026 can be considered.

If you would like to be considered for the new series, please read the information below, then fill out the short online application form. You must also upload a video clip, as described below. And you must have your parent or guardian’s permission before completing the form and applying. Judge Hacker and the team are fully inclusive and encourage children and grown-ups from all backgrounds to take part.

What you will need before you fill in the application form

For your application to be considered, children and grown-ups must provide the following to DLT Entertainment UK:

A recent photograph of themselves (with their authorising parent /guardian in the photo if they are a child).

A brief (one-minute) video telling Judge Hacker all about their accusation. Video clips can be filmed on any device, including phones – and do not have to be professional quality, please keep it to around one minute in length. But most importantly, please explain the accusation you want to bring before Judge Hacker! Please say who you are accusing and the 'crime' you are accusing them of! Don’t hold back! Share why your case is so important to you – so be as creative as you like. Let your personality shine!

Confirmation of the defendant’s consent. We will need to know that the person you are accusing of a 'crime' is willing to appear on Judge Hacker with you to defend themselves!

When is the application deadline?

All completed applications should be submitted by 10am on Friday 29th May 2026.

If you have not had a response within a month of your application, then unfortunately this means the application has not been successful. If you do make it to the next selection stage, your parent or guardian will receive a call. The team making the show will need to talk to a parent or guardian first - and then they will want to chat to you a bit more about why you think you and the person you are accusing would be great on the programme. If you have any queries, please contact DLT, the company making this programme at judge@judgehacker.com

Information for parents and guardians

If selected to take part, the accuser will be given the chance to present their case in front of Judge Hacker himself. And the person they’ve accused will also be there to defend themselves. Judge Hacker will hear the arguments, consider the evidence, and maybe even call some witnesses or seek an expert opinion! When he’s heard enough, Judge Hacker will reach his verdict - and deliver some justice!

The programme is aimed at 6 to 12-year olds but younger or older family members, teachers, friends or neighbours can also get involved. Grown-ups are encouraged to apply too and everyone who applies will be considered equally.

Filming will take place in London during the week beginning 8th June 2026. The studio recordings will take approximately one hour and there will be some additional smartphone filming ahead of the filming day, for the purposes of 'evidence gathering' and obtaining 'witness statements'. We also need the accusers to confirm that the person they are accusing is willing to appear on Judge Hacker with them to defend themselves.

Should your child be chosen to take part, you will both need to be available at the time and date of your studio trial with Judge Hacker. Exact dates to be confirmed and may be subject to change. Please read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice for taking part in DLT Entertainment's show Judge Hacker.
