On Saturday 22nd July, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire (in partnership with Arts Council England) is attempting a world record for the greatest number of people to participate in a dance class simultaneously - and you're invited along! Across the country, people will be taking part in the BBC Local Radio Big Dance Class. To be a record breaker you just need to join in the 10-minute specially-designed dance class which starts at 12.30pm at Jubilee Gardens in Ely. People of all ages are welcome on the day and you don't need to be an expert, in fact, even if you've got two left feet you can still get involved. It will be broadcast on the evening of 22 July and will include coverage of the Big Dance Class across England. That’s when you'll find out if the world record attempt was successful! The Big Dance Class is part of Big Dance 2006 - a season of events put on by Arts Council England to celebrate dance. The season runs from 15 to 23 July 2006 and encourages you to get into dancing.
