Kevin Simm's Winner's Single is Here!

Congrats again to our Voice UK 2016 grand champ, the mighty Kevin Simm! And with that glorious victory comes a swanky record deal with Universal Music and the release of his very own winner’s single ‘All You Good Friends’.

Our Kev got to put his trademark vocals on his own version of the song, AND, for the first time EVER on the Voice, the track was released to download and stream just after the Live Final, on all platforms.

‘All You Good Friends’ was produced by Peter-John Vettese who has worked with everyone from Sia to James Bay, and we’re pretty sure you agree, it’s a good’un!

At least 20p from the sale of each download and at least 50% of Universal’s receipts from each stream will go to Comic Relief.

Let’s help Kevin get to a UK number one, with loads of success in the future.

We’ve got some AWESOME guest performers for our Live Finals

As if the Live Finals weren’t exciting enough, with our artists giving everything they’ve got in hope of winning that big shiny Voice UK crown, we've also got some A-list guests performing on each show!

During this week's Live Final, Canadian hottie Shawn Mendes will be performing, along with the super sweet Meghan Trainor, who we hear is very much ALL about that bass!

The Live Quarter-Finals saw our very own Series 4 champ Stevie McCrorie return to perform his self-penned single ‘My Heart Never Lies’, plus Brit Award nominees (and total Voice fans!) Years & Years hit the stage to perform their single ‘Desire’.

Our Semi-Finals were allllll about the girls as ‘Lush Life’ pop sensation Zara Larsson took to the stage, as well as the delicate little songstress that is Birdy. (you can even Tweet her, too... Sorry not sorry.)

So that’s that - it’s all terribly exciting and we just can’t wait!

Beth and Chloe, we wish you all the best

Hey Voice fans, although it’s the Live Quarter-Finals tonight, we’ve also got some sad news that two acts have had to pull out of the show, our lovely Beth Morris and Chloe Castro.

A spokesman for The Voice UK said:

“Two contestants have left The Voice and will not appear on tonight's edition or the remaining live shows. These departures are unrelated. Due to health reasons Chloe has withdrawn from the competition. We wish her all the best.”

Chloe added: “I have decided to leave The Voice for health reasons. I have had a fantastic time and wish all the other contestants all the best in the competition.”

Due to personal reasons which have only just come to light, The Voice producers, the BBC and Beth have agreed that she should withdraw from The Voice.

Beth said: "Being on The Voice has been the best experience of my life, the production team and contestants have all been incredible and I have loved performing on the show. Paloma has also been a great support."

Chloe and Beth’s departures will now mean that two contestants will leave Saturday’s Quarter-Finals show instead of four.

That’s right, you can have the actual shoes, trousers, shirt and of course THAT WAISTCOAT you saw Ricky wearing on The Voice… (all dry cleaned after those 7 weeks, we promise!)

Jordan Gray joins #TeamPaloma

Back in Episode 6 you may remember Jordan Gray, dazzling our Coaches with her performance of Bob Dylan’s ‘Just Like A Woman’, hoping to spin those big red chairs and land a place in The Battles.

Although it wasn’t to be from her Blind Audition, our Coaches were instantly regretful on their lack of button pressing, Paloma especially! But hey, no regrets and all that… especially now, as in a twist of fate, Jordan Gray is the brand new member of #TeamPaloma!

Due to personal reasons, JJ Soulx will no longer be appearing on The Voice UK and will not be featured during The Battles. This gave Paloma the option to pick a ‘reserve’ act from the Blinds; and it was Jordan who’d been on her mind.

The first round of The Battles will hit your screens this Saturday at 7pm, don’t be late!

Voice Alumni for Eurovision? YEP!

We love keeping track of our Voice UK alumni, seeing what musical adventures life has thrown at them next; so we were over the moon with the latest news on our Series 4 heartthrobs Jake Shakeshaft and Joe Woolford.

With Jake making it to Knockouts with #TeamWill and Joe progressing to the live finals on #TeamRita just last year, we’re thrilled to learn that the lads have been friends ever since and have now been chosen by the public to represent the UK in this year's Eurovision Song Contest! AMAAAAZING!!

We’re totally and utterly smitten with this gorgeous duo all over again, and wish them loads of luck!

Well if you haven’t, by golly are you lucky we’re here! The Northernettes are a super chic, vintage-esq three-part harmony girl group made up of past Voice UK artists.

That's right, the trio of lovelies that are Katie, Georgia and Sophie May are all proud Voice alumni who have been reunited by a love and passion of all things music and fashion which blends their unique and classic sounds of the 50s and 60s to form a truly stylish and super classy new group!

So what’s coming up for The Northernettes? Well, aside from being MASSIVE fans of the show, when they’re not tweeting along on a Saturday night they’ve been busy little bees in the studio, and gigging up and down the UK and their new single ‘Let’s Go’ is out tomorrow.
