It's the Twitter spat that has us gripped rn
Leeds United are not taking any prisoners this season. Not even One Direction band member Niall Horan. Niall, his fans, and the club account have become embroiled in a quite bizarre Twitter spat in the last 24 hours, and we are living for this.
So, what’s happened?
It starts with Niall heaping praise on Frank Lampard’s Derby County, who beat West Bromwich Albion on their own turf by four goals to one on Wednesday night. He's apparently a Derby County fan so you can understand his enthusiasm on the matter.
When MC Crossy waded in to ask Niall to pass on his best wishes to Leeds, Niall was not having it.
Shots fired.
Leeds United had a busy evening themselves last night. They beat Ipswich (2-0) which saw them return to the top of the Championship table. So you would have thought their Twitter bods would have had their hands full reporting on all of this. Well, yes, but they still found time to clap back at this disrespect.

We await to see how this one develops. In the meantime, Leeds are top of the league, Niall Horan’s solo album, Flicker, launched at No.1 in the US, and, yes, Slow Hands is a banger. Can’t they both just be happy?!
