For over 20 years the Arts Care Clown Doctors have been bringing fun and laughter into children’s hospital wards and healthcare settings across Northern Ireland. The Clown Doctors are trained performers with an insight into some of the challenges that children and their families can face during hospital stays or periods of illness.

Radio Ulster/Foyle and Sounds Broadcast Appeals are broadcast on the last Sunday of every month and repeated Monday. The Appeal profiles the work of each featured charity and also includes a short story from a volunteer or beneficiary.
